frequently asked questions

Are all Vehicle Wraps the same?

Short answer - No.  In the harsh North Queensland weather vehicle signage won't last as long as say Melbourne or Sydney.  Products are improving every day and the technology is evolving quickly but we're not there just yet. Short term investment? Go for it, they are an excellent mobile billboard.

VINYL APPLICATION - Cut vinyl lettering and decals of almost any design will outlast a wrap currently and look just a good if done right. A signwriter is the best person to apply your vinyl, trade qualifications matter with your signage.  Contact me to discuss further - no obligation.

VEHICLE WRAPPING - Wrapping your vehicle means that a vinyl sheet (whether printed or coloured) is heated and stretched to stick to the contours of your car. Depending on the wrap brand used and skills and expertise of the person applying it will affect the longevity of the product.

If your goal is short term then wrapping is an excellent way to promote your vehicle.  Be careful when removing vinyl, and always seek professional advice. I've seen the glue eat through the paint on a hot bonnet requiring  the bonnet to be stripped to bare metal to repair. A costly process for the customer.

Remember to check the legality of your vehicle signage as well with TMR.

The more the better!

  • Existing business card with your colours on it.
  • Any media files that will help. jpg, pdf, eps, etc
  • Any colour swatches or mood boards that give me an insight into your themes
  • Likes and Dislikes - afterall you are paying for it.
  • Styles of signs you like the look of - gives me clues on which way to go

I only use the best materials possible. My reputation depends on it, so if the product fails I'll ensure that it is repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

Materials used have a range of warranties provided by the manufacturer and they can vary depending on the region it is used in. Please ask and I'll forward you the details on your selected materials.

I will always contact you with a "proof" prior to commencing your work.  Once you are satisfied with the proof, you provide the "go ahead" and only then will I install your job. Up until then we can always modify the work to suit your requirements.  Communication really is the key here, let me work with you to achieve the best results.
